![Shogun gay spa is not shy... not shy at all]()
Headsup: If you're fairly conservative, don't try and Google "shogun" and "Singapore" together. "Shogun" means military commander in Japanese. There's also the recent anime TV series Dai-Shogun, and of course the Shogun Fights.
But your main results will be focused on just Shogun, a gay spa in Singapore, and let's just say, it's very... 'out there'.
The website looks decent enough. Hell it might even pass off as an events company website, but look closer and the details are astounding, especially in a city that has insisted on keeping homosexuality illegal.
Touted as "the home of the Great", Shogun operates round the clock and boasts facilities like a "glass smoking room", "orgy room", "private cubicle maze" and "glory hole maze".
It also holds themed nights including "Chub & Chaser", described to be a "nude night for big size guys and their admirers".
On the homepage is an automated module that displays testimonials from 'satisfied customers'. One reads, "I like Shogun because most the guys there are humble and without any attitude." Another customer writes, "I like the outdoor shower 'cos I'm an exhibitionist!" Yet another compliments Shogun on giving a "new edge to indoor cruising".
Seems a relatively classy place considering its nature, but... wowwee.
OK, so it's public knowledge that while the government wants to keep Section 377A of the Penal Code, it's rarely enforced. But how a business like this is allowed to advertise so blatantly while books promoting all-inclusive love get axed is beyond us.
