The Butter Factory has announced they'll be closing down when their One Fullerton lease expires in March next year.
Speaking to Channel NewsAsia, co-founder Tay Eu-Yen explained that although the club has had an amiable negotiation with its landlord Sino Group, they simply haven't been able to come to a mutual agreement on this one.
Fans of the nightlife brand probably won't have to mope around for long, though. Ms. Tay has expressed the team's desire to open a new club with a different name and says they've been on the look-out for venues to house the venture.
According to the The Straits Times, enquiries have already been made regarding a site at the Asian Civilisations Museum, whose GeBIZ tender closed on Aug. 26, but Ms. Tay says this is a separate — and confidential — issue.
