![Singapore firm stops selling Islamic State-like flags, denies supporting terrorism]()
Singaporean company Albenyahya Enterprise has landed itself in hot water after it was reported for selling flags that resembled those flown by radical militant group Islamic State.
Images of the flags, now removed, had been published on their Instagram and Facebook pages, with information on how to purchase them.
Albenyahya Enterprise has been offering Islam-related products such as headscarves, dates and herbal medicine imported from places like Malaysia and Yemen. It was only recently that they obtained the Islamic State-like flags to sell at a bazaar.
Company owner Mohammad Faisal BenYahya has denied supporting terrorism and declared via TODAY that he's stopped selling the flags, which he said were "just a one-off thing due to customer requests".
He also revealed he's filed a police report against his accusers to protect his, his business' and his family's reputation, after seeking legal advice.
The Islamic State is known to have executed thousands of soldiers and civilians in Iraq and Syria as a reaction to the United States' foreign policy — among them are two American journalists, whose beheadings were captured on tape.
