On two separate occasions, operations led by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) concluded in the arrest of a suspected drug syndicate leader at Woodlands, and four youths in Ang Mo Kio, who'd been in the possession of drugs.
On Aug. 26, CNB officers were deployed to the vicinity of Woodlands after there were news about a 51-year-old drug syndicate leader meeting up with a 49-year-old drug trafficker. They were both arrested.
Later that day, officers busted the official residence of the drug trafficker and arrested two male drug abusers at the unit.
Drugs amounting to more than $103,000 (street value) were confiscated in the whole operation. A total of 2,625g of cannabis and 232g of heroin were seized.

On Aug. 24, four youths were arrested at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 after one of the youths was found to be in possession of ‘Ice’. They were aged between 14 – 17 years old.
On the same day, officers arrested two drug traffickers suspected of supplying the drugs to one of the youths caught earlier at Hougang Avenue 2.
Investigations on all suspects are still on-going.
