CBD foodies will have another place to escape to when the sexy-sounding Pantler bakery throws open its doors, which may be as early as mid-September.
Founding duo Matthias Phua and Tomoharu Morita, former colleagues at Joël Robuchon Singapore and the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, are hard at work with the renovation and in the test kitchen, so they can deliver what's been promised: freshly baked bread and pastries, cakes, tarts and puddings served in a thoughtfully-designed space.
We're especially excited about their signatures: the Pantler roll cake, crème caramel pudding, baked cheese tart and daily danishes.
