A 25-year-old man suspected of posing as a representative of a non-profit organisation will be charged in Court today for outrage of modesty.
On two different occasions, Mar. 23 and Mar. 25, two female victims reported they were approached by the suspect. He molested them when they'd agreed to help him. One of the incidents happened at an educational institution along Clementi Road.
Police officers from Tanglin Police Division and Clementi Police Division conducted extensive investigations to identify the suspect, who was arrested on Mar. 31.
Outrage of Modesty is a chargeable offence, which may be penalised by imprisonment, or with fine, caning, or any combinations of such punishments.
