A 30-year-old man was arrested on Monday for molesting a woman in a lift at a residential block in Chua Chu Kang Central.
On July 24, officers from the Jurong Police Division received a report from a 46-year-old woman, who said she'd been molested by an unknown man. After thorough investigations to determine the suspect’s identity and whereabouts, he was arrested at Chua Chu Kang Central.
The suspect is charged in court today, under the offence of Outrage of Modesty. Upon conviction, he could face a jail term of at least three years to 10 years with caning.
