Singer-songwriter Dick Lee may have decided to do without a National Day song this year, but the appointed creative director for next year’s golden jubilee show will be composing a theme song for Singapore’s 50th birthday.
The 57-year-old is apparently feeling the pressure of writing something to match the standard of his previous successes, like "Home" and "We Will Get There".
He told The Straits Times, "It is not just an NDP song, but a song that reflects Singapore's 50 years of independence.
