Police have arrested a suspected serial loanshark harasser responsible for vandalising cars in Woodlands and Yishun.
Between July 21 and 30, the authorities have received reports of vehicles parked in the carparks of these two housing estates being splashed with red paint. Debtors' notes believed to be related to the act were also discovered.
On Aug. 7 about about 3pm, the 39-year-old was arrested at Admiralty Link. Police seized mobile phones and a notebook containing what is believed to be debtors' records.
Preliminary investigations indicate the suspect is responsible for seven counts of loanshark harassment targeting vehicles belonging to innocent parties.
The suspect has been charged in court.
