The Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore has seemingly responded to questions about the status of Marvel comic Astonishing X-Men #51, which sees Northstar marrying his partner Kyle Jinadu, as well as about the book review process in general.
An MDA spokesperson said to Channel NewsAsia, "The issue featured characters who objected to the wedding and this offered a balanced treatment on the issue of gay marriage", thus obtaining the 'green light' to fill up local bookshelves.
Despite this, Today reveals MDA has advised stockists to shrink wrap the book and label it with "Unsuitable for the Young".
