13 local culinary greats come together in return of Chefs for a CausePhoto: Chicken soup, one of the dishes enjoyed by the young M.I.L.K Foundation guests at 2009's Chefs for a Cause; Project Happy Feet Chefs for a Cause is happening for the second time since its conception by prolific chef Jimmy Chok in 2009. This year's edition happening Aug. 24, 4pm at Swissotel Merchant Court, aims to raise funds to support the education of children affected by cancer.  These 13 local chefs will come together to whip up a feast featuring more than 35 dishes, paired with choice wines: Christopher Tan (Foodfella), Daniel Sia (The Disgruntled Chef), Forest Leong (Forest at Resorts World Singapore), Ivan Lim (Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel), Jimmy Chok (JC Concepts), Mohammad Shahrom (SELA), Pang Kok Keong (Sugar Daddy), Petrine Fan (Resorts World Singapore), Robin Ho (Privé Group), Sebastian Ng (Formerly from Ember), Shen Tan (Ujong), Xu Tian Mu (Culinary consultant at Chef At Work), Yen Koh (Unilever). All proceeds from the sale of 300 tickets ($150 each) will be donated to the Children Cancer Foundation.  In 2009, 10 local chef hosted 600 disadvantaged children supported by the Mainly I Love Kids (MILK) Foundation for a three-course dinner, serving dishes like chicken soup and salmon pasta.
