Singapore's a tiny city, so when we get picked up by international media, it's kind of a big thing.
We've been in the news for some pretty embarrassing stuff lately (scroll down for examples) so we were quite relieved when this story by Gizmodo came up.
According to the tech culture website, the newly launched Singapore Sports Hub is now the "largest free-spanning dome structure ever built".
The sprawling development, which stretches "more than 1,010 feet across at its widest point", is home to a 55,000-seat stadium, "infrastructure to hold all manner of games from cricket to rugby, a pool and a water park, a skate park, space for canoeing and kayaking" and a shopping mall among other things.
Gizmodo describes it as "its own city devoted to sports".
