President Tony Tan didn't declare today a World Cup holiday, guysPresident Tony Tan Keng Yam did not declare today a public holiday so citizens could watch and celebrate the end of the 2014 World Cup.  According to Channel NewsAsia, the President's Office confirmed today it didn't issue the letter — floating online since yesterday evening — apparently signed off by the President, encouraging Singaporeans to use the World Cup final between Germany and Argentina to "bond with their family members, neighbour (sic) and friends".  In its statement, the President's Office also reminded that the Ministry of Manpower is responsible for the announcements of all public holidays, and that these can be found on their official website.  Read Also: Plot Twist: Andy's dad wants to bet 'one more time'
