A report by TNS Global resulting from their study of over 55,000 internet users worldwide have drummed up some interesting results.
Among them is that most Singaporeans prefer watching video content on their traditional TV sets (about 70 percent) to a PC, mobile or tablet (about 33 percent). The former statistic is only slightly lower than the global average, which stands at 75 percent.
TV dinners are also popular in Singapore. About 67 percent of viewers here have dinner while watching TV, though also less than the global average of 76 percent.
Another observation is that Singapore is leading the trend in "screen stacking", the act of watching TV whilst engaging in other digital activities.
