Football makes the world go round.
It's apparent in Brazil and and also is in Singapore, the 6th nation most concerned about the World Cup.
Patwant Singh of Channel NewsAsia watched this morning's shocking semi-final match between Germany and Brazil at an unusual screening event on Sing Avenue.
It was 'organised' by a Rooban Kanth, who's been setting up his TV set outside his terrace home since the season began, so that foreign workers residing in that Little India area can enjoy the games.
He told Singh, "It's a great feeling to see so many people celebrating the World Cup. I love football, so I try my best to reach out to everybody and share what I have. Screening the World Cup outside my house, I cater to a lot of workers and residents around my area, so I'm happy that we are all sharing and caring."
In the top photo, around 50 foreign workers were gathered outside Kanth's house for the 4am killer by Germany, which knocked host nation Brazil out of the tournament.
