Described as "modern American dining in a lively and playful setting", Match is a new restaurant presented by The Privé Group, opening at the Pan Pacific Singapore hotel.
When the restaurant launches in mid-July, it will be a new go-to spot for supper folk — the full restaurant menu will be available till midnight from Wednesday to Saturday (you can order smaller bites however, till 3am) and 11pm on Monday and Tuesday. Match will have DJs spinning "everything from nu-disco, friendly and vocal deep house, and electric lounge" for late-night diners.
The Privé Group's chairman Yuan Oeij also says that diners will be able to customise their mains at Match. What that actually means, we're not sure. But this photo, found on the restaurant's Facebook page, seems a pretty hefty clue. Sounds like the stuff for picky eaters people who like having options:
Coming from The Privé Group, this isn't a surprising venture. They're known for being on-trend, if not poised at the cutting edge. In October last year, the company launched Singapore's first nose-to-tail restaurant Wolf, at Gemmill Lane. Another establishment called Bang Bang is apparently on the way.
