Were there nothing else, Bangkok's nightlife would remain the world's envy. Welcoming all from distant lands or nearby sois, the party scene is always thriving and surviving, with everything from pop-anthem worship and degenerate underground beat-stomps to bawdy meat markets. Here are some different flavors of fun available tonight through the weekend: TONIGHT Dark Groove Alliance Taking place on the first Thursday of each month, Dark Groove Alliance features a night of progressive and tech house music. The event beckons those who are “sick of cheesy crap” constantly played at Bangkok clubs – let’s see what these DJs have to offer then.   9pm, Dickinson’s Culture Cafe, Phra Arthit Road, free High Tech Soul In a concoction of European talent, German DJ Sascha Zastiral and Swedish-born The Outsider promise a night of Detroit underground dance music. Expect lots of drums and bass. 10pm, Glow Nightclub, Sukhumvit Soi 23, THB200 includes one drink, BTS Asok   Half Moon Party, Safe House The college-age set will rock the Safe House at some kind of half-moon party.
