EXO will soon be performing their first solo concert in Singapore.
The 12-man K-pop group, which has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity since their debut in 2011 under S. M. Entertainment, is made up of two outfits — one South Korean and the other, Chinese — and is in the midst of their The Lost Planet tour.
The concert in Singapore is set for Aug. 23, but other details like the venue and ticket pricing and sales dates, have not been announced.
EXO has produced two successful albums MAMA and XOXO, selling about 1.5 million units in total worldwide. As of April this year, the group has also churned out Overdose, whose title track has performed well on local music charts. Its music video (watch below) has racked up over 21 million views on YouTube so far.
The Singapore concert is expected to be sans EXO's Chinese leader Kris Wu, who filed a lawsuit against the entertainment company in May to nullify his contract.
