Google Map Maker launches in SingaporeThose living in Singapore — currently experiencing a concentrated phase of gentrification and sees a change in landscape almost everyday — can now make edits to Google's mapping service. The Google Map Maker allows users to submit additions and revisions to Google Maps, which will be made live after they're verified.  According to TODAY, the verification process is largely community based, in which other users can vew the proposed changes, but Google also has its own team of reviewers. Said senior product manager of Google, Southeast Asia Andrew McGlinchey, "We know that people would like to fix (building and road developments) and now when someone says 'Hey Google, did you know this isn't right?' we can say 'Thank you please be our guest and fix it directly."
