A statement on their website reveals the Philippine embassy in Singapore has been in contact with the government about making the person behind Blood Stained Singapore accountable for a recent racist blog post.
The post that's been going viral the last two weeks encourages Singaporeans to discriminate against Filipinos living in the city-state by suggesting ways to show displeasure without breaking the law.
In the statement, the embassy reveals it believes the post does not reflect the general views of people in Singapore and advises Filipinos not to respond in kind and fulfil the blogger's aim of creating friction. The embassy also encourages Filipinos here to continue their good work in enhancing Philippine-Singapore relations.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the police have been alerted on the blog and investigations are ongoing.
