I think I'm turning Japanese: This popular film festival starts June 26The Japanese Film Festival is back with a whole new line-up of films, including current as well as retrospective ones. It runs from June 26 to July 12, 2014.  The films will be screened at the National Museum of Singapore (93 Stamford Rd., 6332-3659), except for opening night (June 20) where you and your family will get to watch Ninja Kids!!! outside, under the Banyan Tree. No tickets are required so just turn up with a blanket and popcorn. The black-and-white retrospective films are free, all you have do is to turn up at the Gallery Theatre 40 minutes before the film starts. The current films are priced from $10-13, one of them is Takashi Miike's manga adaptation The Mole Song: Undercover Agent Reiji.  Tickets go on sale on June 16, you can get them from TicketBooth. You can also get tickets at these following locations: Ang Mo Kio Hub, Century Square, Downtown East, Great World City, Happy Days, Jest d'Place, Scarlet City, Tanglin Mall, Ticketcube, The Star Performing Arts Centre, Union Square and West Mall.
