Wow, we all thought we were sooo smart.
If you were one of the first to notice that this Facebook page was a fake, you probably also believed this was the real social media platform for new political party Singaporeans First.
Well, it's not.
First called to attention by The Straits Times in — ironically — their Facebook post outing the first work by master trolls SMRT Ltd. (Feedback), the SFP Singapore Official page is also a fake.
They admitted it themselves:
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
Post by SFP Singapore Official.
They were so good at pretending, even the SMRT troll page was fooled.
