The Singapore Police Force's anti-molest campaign has been receiving less than favourable attention of late for serving as a warning to victims instead of potential perpetrators.
Buzzfeed, Huffington Post and Jezebel all called this anti-grope poster "creepy", though that hasn't stopped it from continuing to be displayed in bus stops across the country.
But the latest campaign collateral to surface threatens to steal the poster's limelight, not so much for being controversial, but for being... well, hilarious.
And unlike with the poster, which hints at the existence of victim-blaming within the government (or at least that's what the websites say), the message here is pretty convincing: "Shrill alarms — always carry one with you".
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
