![Badoque Cafe opening second outlet at Upper Thomson next week]()
Best news ever: the popular Badoque Cafe is expanding to cater to their fans in the northern and western parts of Singapore.
Their second outlet at 246 Upper Thomson Road is slated to open next week with an updated look and menu.
Though the stretch — which is where Meng Kitchen, Salted Caramel and Udders are located — doesn't allow for an alfresco dining space like that of Badoque's flagship Simpang Bedok outlet, it'll house a bigger kitchen, so guests can expect new dishes.
Favourites like their chicken and orange salad, and of course, the beef ribs — served in Badoque's signature gargantuan proportions — will still be available.
According to marketing in-charge Sheikh, the expansion allows Badoque Cafe to accommodate all their customers, many of whom have started coming from other parts of Singapore. "Our East-side regulars haven't been able to get seats," he revealed.
For a relatively new arrival in the local makan scene situated in a place many would describe as 'ghetto', this is a fantastic problem to have."I guess we fill a void. The halal restaurants in Singapore that serve beef ribs are close to none and this is more convenient than having to go all the way to Kuala Lumpur for Tony Roma's," he explained. "Also, we make sure our portions are big. The idea is to let our customers 'makan puas' (leave feeling sated)."
